Marathon was started in 1966 as a small manufacturing facility of copper drains in Buffalo, NY with an emphasis on growing customer base and its line of products.
Since those small beginnings, Marathon has expanded significantly to its new facility in Orchard Park, NY in 2008 and sells products throughout the US, Canada and many countries abroad. As a privately held company you can be sure that you will get the personal service you have been use to for more than 40 years. As President and Owner of Marathon, I have made it my mission that even with Marathon’s expansion that the personalized service must be maintained. Marathon’s idea is simple. Innovation will assure us success for years to come. Our continued efforts to create long standing relationships with our customers and the company’s reputation for quality service will assure growth in the future.
While continuing to expand its offerings and services, Marathon remains true to its ideal of providing the No. 1 customer service in the industry.

- 1980 - 1985 Developed most effective and innovative retrofit drain in the industry called Proliner
- 1991 - Tendered for sales by parent company
- 1992 - Purchased by Doug Rowan
- 2005 - Sold to Tod Cislo General Manager
- 2009 - Moved Business from original location after 40 years to Orchard Park, NY
- 2010 - Given exclusive distributorship of new innovative line of Adjustable Paver Supports in all of the US and Canada
